LowMicra - Dont know the code, I got my partner to mix it for me! It looks like a different colour in life compared to the pics. Its more purple and has a blue flip. Im in love with it!!!

Well, I dont know what else suits the micras? Ive only seen people put gemini rims on them ... Im open to ideas if people can show me nice pics of wheels!

yeah, ur right Low... i'm not doing shit with my micra... ur leading the way here "mate" bahaha! i'm not gonna get into that, especially considering that this is MSS15's thread, and it's inappropriate 2 hijack it simply to assist with u getting ur facts straight and ur shit correct.. back on topic, MSS15, go with what u like, and disregard haters that have nothing positive or intelligent to contribute.. the only significant downside to bigger rims may be a decrease in acceleration, and possibly some reduced handling - but like i stated before, ur car, ur call... looking good btw

Wow.... I don't care if people dislike the wheels and say it.. I know i like them. But thanks for all the people trying to stick up for me!
The rear guards have been widened, and I didn't really want to spend much money getting new ones cause I like these rims, so they are getting widened on the rear and they are going to get painted a dark charcoal. The paint is a zeralec pearl, but no colour code as its mixed without one! Cant wait for the weekend for it all to be painted! And the engine the engine is undergoing a remake.. Not really looking forward to the torque steer im going to have! |

Thanks.. I dont really want to lower it, I had my 200sx so low, I dont want to go through the same bumpy drive! I like the way it drives but yes I agree it would look alot nicer lowered!

Hey guys, Settle down hey..
I feel those rims will look tops with the paint job especially. They look very similar to DTM Japanese wheels. I would keep them on the car but it needs a small drop to make them look flush :) I wouldn't widen them, way to much effort for a pressed alloy wheel. If its a 2 piece or 3 piece it would be fine though. The micra colour is especially nice Im getting jealous about all these wild colours! Damn having AJ4 red :( Good luck with the build. |

Smokin hot color! Keep the wheels, will look great for your personal tyle once the car gets dropped a little bit more as you mention.
Wheels and overall style of build are a matter of choice and personal opinion. Ive seen wheels and tyres in all sorts of styles and sizes on micras over the years since joining the site and getting hooked by cisco`s legendary stuff on here. Ive personaly used four different sizes on the four micras in my garage 13, 14, 15, and 16inchers. Each to serve their purpose, though 16" more for show than go. Great to see new projects beeing posted on here! Please keep discussions off project threads guys.. |

Nice, looks like a top job on the paintwork done there. What type of front and rear bumper, sideskirts and so on are you planning to put on? Or are you re-using the original ones maybe.

Original ones. This car was only getting a paint job, now my partner has made it his project car for me... bought new seats today for it yay! and pick the rims up tomorrow from getting widened !!

Subaru b4 liberty seats. They look nice.. Ill post a pic up on the weekend. Same rims all around, have been taken off cause Danny sent them somewhere. Rims are getting painted a light silver with lilac pearl.

This is going to look great. Just on the lowering - to get it looking real good coilovers are the go —and it does not necessarily mean a harsh ride (so long as you get the right ones).

DECIM8 its the same rims on the front of the vehicle, ive always liked them and wanted to stick with them, so Danny just got them widened for it.. I know they do look a little bit bigger than 235's hmmm will just have to wait and see next week for photos. Ill post up photos of the seats to, whole interior is getting new carpet, retrimmed door cards not sure about the roof but i think his doing that to .. what can i say .. im lucky to have my Danny :)

235,s should be ok on the rear imo, there,s 260mm between my shock and the outer edge of the tyre :)

Did you do all that body work / paint yourself? mine needs some major body work and re-spray. thinking of doing it myself, can you give some tips?
oh btw, you need to swap those tyres/wheels around...it's installed in reverse (i.e. thread works backwards). cheers :) |

me to ! i should of taken one of the dump pipe im getting put on the back, i can't wait to get it back! exhaust piping nearly finished. just have to get computer hooked up and fuel system and tuned.. and then she will be all good to go !

Dash cluster surround, inner two rear trims, handbrake cover & centre console bit for around the a/c..
it was all painted & ready to pick up and then the shop they were in got burnt down .. |

the surround that goes around the odometer.. and the inner rear big plastic grey bit that is next to the rear seats?? you can sort of lean your arm on them ?

And this isn't even the engine im going to be using in it! The real engine is still getting built .. Yeeeeeh! So happy its finally driving.. Now all I have to get is the seats put in, the rims painted all the same colour and interior put back together!

Yeah I know! New seats get put it in the next few weeks and rear seats are getting retrimmed black suade. As well as the roof an the door cards have already been done I'll put a photo up of them later!

I think its a VF 22.. for some reason that rings a bell to me.. ill make sure .. but i have another engine getting built by my brother in law that will get put in the next couple of months :D

Rego has never come off it! Ive been paying rego & insurance all that time!! Just a few bits of the interior that are missing also set up the rear speakers & sub.. and the front grille.. and injectors & re-tune.. But its driving and the tyres on the rear aren't scraping! :D Very happy!

Front pillar trims.. Lots of small interior bits, most of the interior bits were burnt down in a workshop fire.
Rudy on here helped me out with a lot so big thank you to him as well. Was going to fit the liberty seats in it but might leave them for a bit longer. |

To be honest $7500 wouldn't even pay for the paint/body work on this car. Just saying. In the scheme of modified cars this is quite a good price.

It's up to you what price you try and sell your car for but if you actually want a sale I'd be knocking off at least 3.5k and that's just being realistic and that's providing somebody actually wants a micra with these modifications, at the end of the day you very rarely make back the money spent on modifications, at the end of the day it's only a micra. But hey, that's only what I think, good luck with the sale bud |

It's 120bhp, with 17inch wheels, a skyline or b18 civic will wipe the floor with this thing, albeit, in the right hands the micra could be a little rocket, but 7.5k for 120hp isn't a good deal, my ga16 micra made 123hp, for a fraction of the cost of a turbo'd application, and no lag! :-)
