Sun 09 Oct 2005 11:03:07 PM |
Well after a very busy few months I have finally got off my bum to post these photos of my car now it's painted.
There's been very limited progress on the turbo aspect due to various reasons out of my control. Anyways. I am absolutely wrapped in the way it came up. Here Tis |

There's 2 more I'd like to post but even though they are the right size/type etc they won't post.

Congratulations
That paint has come up looking like glass! It looks a bit different to the factory metalic blue though. I got to get off my ass and start doing somthing with my k11, it just sucks that I am away so much lately for work. There has definately been some inspiration from fellow members this last year. That SuperS logo is pretty good too, subtle yet agresive if that makes sence? |

Those alloys you have look so nice on that car. The blue is also very mink colour for it!!
have you just got the bucket seats in and stripped rear out or have you still got rear seats?? Napster |

Geoff it looks tops.Love the colour and the Super S signage.
Man its that shiny if I had a bald head I would get a reflection. Wait about 6 months as the guy told me who resparayed Whitey for all the solvents whatever to work their way out of the paint and hit it with a top of the range car wax. Dont know how true that is but sort of makes sense. Gee there are some nice looking Micras popping up all over the place. |

Cheers for the complements guys. :) Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks it looks good.
I have removed the bottom of the rear seat to fit the 3 point harness and removed the seat belt clips so that no one can sit in the back. They are fixed back seats so legally I can't carry and rear passengers anyway. I have since found out that removing these items is not enough to avoid a defect in NSW. Ahh well been lucky so far. The wheels are ALT DW-Formula II. 15 X 6.5" but are fairly weighty and slow the car quite dramatically, especially with the 195/50/R15 tyres fitted. Virtually eliminated tyre roll though :) |
