i love how flush my old wheels sat on the micra dens..and with a 195/50 you get a little bit of stretch too because of the wide rim..woo looks good

It's a facelift K11 :) The original K11 was from late '92 until 96 for series 1 (I think) unsure how long series 2 lasted for, but the facelift ones like you have there I think began around '98 sometime.

Yep I have a few more pictures, what kind of things would you like to see?
It was dyno'd at 79bhp at the hubs on a Dynapack Dyno with power/torque measured every 1 rpm. (i.e. not on the wheels or theoretical 'at the fly'), so must be nearing 95bhp at the fly I would have thought, around 71kW? Even the induction setup has been made to an exact length to boost bottom end performance using the second and fourth harmonic of the tubing. |

WOW HAHAHA ok.. a 4wd i can believe but a micra?? driving up REALY steep hills or what? how did you not all get raped going 110 and being upside down with no airbags or safety features?? hahaha but yeh respect probably the only micra that has rolled!!

Some Pictures of it afterwards...single vehicle...onto gravel on the left and oversteer to correct...round and round and over. As you can see it was flat. I think the angels earned their money that night. 4 in the car with luggage for trip from Bris to Perth. 2 stayed in hospital one night ...had whip lash...one had ongoing treatment for this.
Location between Barcaldine and Longreach on first day of trip. :( Oh and when the wires were reconnected later it started again !!! Ended up sideways with driver down. |

It was excellent...especially with cruise control....which brings me back to the first car...don't teach inexperienced (to Australian conditions) drivers to use cruise control on our highways until they have lots of practice and are confident without it!
Yep, no problems...just kept going and going....but going at 140km/h really recks the fuel economy! |

hmmm this might sound strange, but i believe i bought the aircon unit out of the davids car. was it an automatic? it was at capalaba wreckers.

It was an auto with cruise control. Don't know where it ended up..the insurance people took it...last I saw it was in Barcaldine...but I would imagine there is not much market for micra spare parts there. :P

I wouldn't say hesitate as in a delay before it takes off...but it days make the acceleration slower..ie you can tell when the compressor is on or off...especially when your accelerating and it kicks in. If you are technically minded it might be a good idea to see if you can rig it so that the compressor only comes on when the revs are below a certain point. ie you don't need that extra power.

Already does. Going to wide open throttle will turn the aircon off.

tris, installing aircon, lowering the steering colum, and fitting wide tyres are the BEST possible micra mods
makes it a useable, every day car... |

i agree!! yeh well 2 down!!! just gota do the aircon!! id love it but from the pics of your aircon... WOW there is no way id be able to work that out. all the wires n stuff! next for me is probably a steering wheel. that makes a huge difference to driveability!!

yeah the boss kits and wheels aren't hugely expensive either
lowered the colum and loving that... hopefully won't make too much difference in a crash, i reckon that any rigidity i've lost from adding washers i've gained in safety from not hitting the metal part of the steering wheel and now my head aims squarely at the padded bit... |

Hi sportsclassic!The frontlip and the back lip was from japan 2gether with the wheels and the eyelid .The lip is abit diff to hyundai getz.Its soft and flexible.

your micra is lush!!! i have not seen another micra with the same "MS sideskirts" as me :-) the funny thing is on the website they fitted the skirts the other way round, but i didnt want the "bigger" end to be at the front arch, so fitted backwards. and you have done the same. |

yeh nah bro. i'll put money on it that they're 14x6.5 + 20. there not n2 flares. there only poxy aspect guards lol. my wheels where 15x6.5 +15. stock guards work fine with 14x6.5+20's. gtrholic ran the watanabe's in that size before, without any guard mods at all. nismo never made a complete guard for the n2 series.. only hilux spec bolt on flares that look pretty homo imo, the aspect guards on d1's car are 100 million times more sexier. tis a pitty they don't fit that great, which is a bit unussual for japanese gear. anyway

Just something to laugh about, this summer i went to my first own flat, and i needed a fridge-freezer. The best moment at all was, when i arrived at the store and said "i am coming to catch up the fridge-freezer"... the guy thought i would kidding on him... stupid blockhead, he didn't know that micra's are able to move nearly everything!
