New Fiat Grande Punto Launched in Oz

Fiat cars are just about the re-launch into the Australian market with their new Grande Punto.

I really like the look of these (particularly the two door version). Nice looking car in the photos.

The 1.3 turbo desiel offers similar fuel economy (4.6Lt/100km) as a hybrid and still has reasonable performance (1-100km in about 11.5secs). Assuming it has great handling and a nice ride it's all good.

The top of the range is the 1.9 TDI two door "sport" with 5.8Lt/100km & 1-100km/9secs

I am looking forward to checking these out in real life in july.

That's the reputation from the late 60's living on strong.... I'm sure that extra 40 years has made all the difference.
