Micra k11 runs out of power then stalls??? HELP!

Hey guys,


so.. It started happening once or twice here and there in the past 4 months. Cold starting or just simply enjoying my drive along the highway. Engine stalls as it feels like it isn't getting enough fuel with bit of a kangaroo jump before it slows down to halt and goes into time machine recovery mode.. Recovers after a lengthy period of time in order for me to start her up and make a dash for it before it happens again, gradually it got worse to the point I can only drive a few minutes till it stops.


Appreciate anybody's advice on this one

Maybe dizzy issues...

I feel it's a electricity fault as fuel lines,pump, filter is good along with air, throttle body ect

Throttle body re solder. Look up in technical forums for what to do

Thanks hotfunk67, Will swap it over with a mates, then re solder if its just that :)

I switched over the Throttle-body with a mates, and the challenge still remains. What are you thoughts?

I had a problem with my alternator once that lead to similar sorts of symptoms but it was also flattening the battery, so may not be what yours is doing. Easy to check just get a multimeter and see if when the car is running it putting out something like 13 - 14 volts across the battery terminals.
