K12 Battling to start.

Good day all,this is my first post so I hope all goes well.
I have a 2004 Micra 1.4 and the cam sensor was replaced because the engine management light came on but now when I want to start the car in the morning the starter turns but that's it and I can smell fuel so I recon there is a snag with power.Later during the day it starts with no problem.Can anyone help me solve this riddle please?

Did you check the plugs?!
Your problem is only when the car is "cold"...

Hope that doesn't getting worse, and I did helped.
