Bike carbs on CG13

Hi all,,, i`ve been watching & reading your forums for ages now, i have 2x micras, one brown piece of shit & a nice blue one
Both are being stripped out & using the engines/boxes in Mini Monaco GT fastback

one will be turbo charged (the old original one) & one will stay N/A (The new one) but concidering using motorbike carbs (Yamaha R1)

anyone done this on this forum before? & if so how`d they go?

Your hillclimb "thing" looks freaking awesome!

Don't know if you've seen it or not but there have been a few guys on TMF who have run bike carbs.with their conversions. Doesn't seem to be a huge issue... You're putting me to shame with the speed you are doing this conversion, mines been something like 3 years so far.

I'm keeping the ECU and injectors because mine will have to pass an emissions test... so have a custom inlet plenum was to be a 4EFTE / 5EFHE micra hybrid but that didn't work, using a GA15 TB.

A fair few of the guys on the UK micra forum have done bike carbs so there's more knowledge there(look in the other forums as well as k10s sometimes get CG13 transplants with bike carbs etc):
