Nissan EXA conversion |
Mon 20 Oct 2014 07:27:32 PM |
Hi guys
Just acquired a Nissan EXA gearbox, and the drive shafts to go with it. Has anyone done this conversion before? Is there a guide? I haven't been able to find one. I've just found little pieces here and there.. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Cheers Mitchell (K11 1995) |

Wasn't it only the ca18 turbo Exa boxes that were lsd? And n13..

I was told it's a LSD EXA box.. I hope it is!
Has LSD 5speed written on the side. It has a code on it.. A1#### can't read it properly. |

i think the stampings are just factory codings, a google image search on "RS5F31V" or 32 should bring up loads of pic.s to compare yours against

If you got it from Plattsy it'll be lsd. I just thought you might have bought any old exa box...
Check out the UK Micra sports club forum if you can't find the info here. |

As far as I was aware the box that plattsy was selling was a n13 pulsar box, originally mated to a gm motor that all Aussie built n13's came with, Exa's were Ca16/18 and their box fits cg13 bell housing,
The box I think you have needs to be hybridized with a n14 box to fit a micra and custom drive shafts and maybe? a custom gearbox mount too. My number is under my name, feel free to ring me. |
