Removing Super S rear wing |
Fri 20 Jun 2014 12:56:57 PM |
So I need to remove the Super S rear wing.
Has anyone got any hints/tips on doing this? I haven't had a look yet, but thought I'd ask before I attempt it. |

Hey,
1. Open the boot, look at the top of it, there should be two rubber grommets, take those out. 2. Inside you will find two 10mm nuts holding onto the rear wing. You'll need a long 10mm socket to get these out, be careful not to let the nuts drop inside the hatch itself or they'll be hard to get out. 3. The rest of the wing is held on by glue, similar to what holds onto the bump strips. Heat it up gently with a hair dryer or heat gun, and pull it off. Cheers. mio |

It is also held in by clips as well, my honest opinion go to the wreckers and buy another hatch without a spoiler
