Fri 17 Jan 2014 01:35:07 PM
Hey guys I am new to the k11 scene and picked up a nice 4 door but it has an idling problem. Not sure what it is but it has a new throttle body air flow meter and tps. Cheers

Nothing as of yet. As previous owner showed me receipts of brand new tps and air flow sensor and throttle body

remove the old seized TB waxstat, clean the IAV, sync the dizzy timing and readjust the idle bleed screw

Hi to all,
I want to share with you my experience as Mechanic. I had same problem with my car. Renew some parts but the problem still the same. The spark plugs were black increasing fuel consumptions. So, I go further investigations and I found that the catalytic in the exhaust manifold is obstructed by carbon resulting to unstable idling.
I just took it out and let the manifold free. Its week now, my car run perfectly without hassle, good accelerations, idling stable and the spark plugs burning grey colour. Which indicate your engine run perfectly.
Hope this comment can solve some problems.
