Interior water leaks |
Sun 24 Nov 2013 08:51:25 AM |
Hi all. Have owned my micra ally for over 12 months now and have clocked up 14 thousand miles and only needed a new battery and drive shaft gaitors for the MOT. However I have a problem with rain water entering the passenger side footwell, I control it by putting newspaper under the carpet and changing it every couple of weeks. I have looked at the windscreen and have not found anything obviously wrong, any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance RON WILKES ,New member.

By plastic clips I take it you mean the ones that seem to be a support for the windscreen. The one on the passenger side seems to be above the hole for the air intake for the cabin. This makes some sense on how the water could be entering. I have put some sealant round this peg. Thanks Frank for the help, hope this cures it.
