Car falls off hoist, workshop holds car until paid |

Reading this on WP and found it shocking that a service center can write off a car in there care yet still demand full payment before they do anything. How bad is that. Sure stuff like this does happen from time to time but you would think the workshop would be going out of its way to make things right and you can't charge for the service when the car is no longer drivable. Hope the owner gets ACA or TT onto them.

The company should have insurance for these type of accidents, yeah it may only happen one in 5-10yrs but still should have insurance for it

I dont see why they cant claim for their services..technically its 2 different matter altogether. Imagine if the workshop after servicing your car decided to park it outside just like every other workshop do..then some joe bloe comes along and ramp your car..and ride it off. They can still claim for their service.
If it was me ill pay for the service.. then get a good lawyer and sue their arse off. |
