Technique for quoting posts |

Hey everyone,
Not sure if it bugs anyone else, but when you quote a fellow members post, you don't have to include all the previous posts its not all necessary. To only quote the part you are responding too, first press the quote button as usual, then within the text that appears, keep the first line that should look something like: squarebracket.quote.squarebracket blah blah climberjoel wrote blah blah' then delete any unnecessary text between that and the end quote bookend that looks like: 'squarebracket./quote.squarebracket' If we can do this it will reduce the overall length of threads, and help with readability and user friendliness, especially given our forum doesn't have threads split into separate pages. Sorry to be a pedantic pain, but i hope it helps someone. Cheers Sorry its hard to give the example as any squarebrackets, which look like this [ keep starting a quote... |
