Wide Arch micra finally finished!! (UK) |
Mon 14 Nov 2005 10:31:51 AM |
Not EXACTLY finished...some bits and bats to do, bits of trim to put in, some electrics, rubber reals etc.... MESHING TO DO!!
This is how it looked when I first got the car: I got a copy of an Impul front bumper etc.. and did some bits to performance of the car.. Then I got a rally spec WORKS wide arch bodykit. Consisting of: Rear quarters Skirts Front Wings Front Bumper Rear Bumper Spoiler along with a splattering of Smooth boot, Smooth Doors, New mirrors with sidelights Modified grill. to go with, 1.6TB and ECU, Janspeed manifold, Decat, Carbonfibre Rear Race Can with flame tip, FSE Boost Valve, Kyb Shocks GMAX springs Sports Steeringwheels ( SUPER SMALL ) Flushed in screen ( In Dash ) xbox and dvd player, etc.. Got it back yesterday and and im prepping it for MOT and neatening all the interior mess the bodyshop made.. To cut a long story short... It now looks like this: Ive done all the mechanicals myself and ive done most of this bodywork myself, but the respray was done by a 'shop'... A lot of hard work has gone into this... COMMENTS please... kristian |

That is so damn hot...
The quality looks really good as well for a home job too! Damn man, I wish we had more aftermarket support in Aus, I'd have exactly the same pumped front and rear guards as that Sean |

This whole this was done on a shoestring budget, 350 for kit, 350 for fitting and painting, ( Not including man hours )

nice! thats extremely cheap for 350 to spray do you work in a bodyshop or something? i think a bad boy bonnet would have suited that immensely |

Once the car is 'Tested' ill be making alterations to the interior... Buckets seat etc..
Then a little into next year its got an SR20DET ( sunny GTIR / Pulsar ) Engine going in.. Thats 220 / 230 BHP as standard.... (Rolling Road Tested at 98bhp at moment) Ive looked into turboing the cg13 but feel in terms of BHP for money, You cant touch simply putting in a 2.0turbo lump... Plus theres LOADS of aftermarket support and a Huge 2nd hand parts market for this engine.. Then is some 1/4Mile time, and some track time he he |

This will be one hell of a micra once it's finished!
I'm jealous. Maybe I should go SR20DET instead of a screamer? :$ Or maybe even SR20DE :P We'll see how rich I am.. LOL. I'm just loving the wide body kit! So smooothhh. Very nice! |
