After some help in Adelaide |
Wed 04 Jan 2012 02:01:04 PM |
Hey all, this is really only to Adelaide members.
Just seeing if someone out there would be able to help bore out the centre of my new wheels a little. The wheels have a thinner bore where the hub centre bit slots in and the wheel doesn't fit on snug :( Wheel shops are quoting me $70.... per wheel! I've tried with a dremel but this will take me years. Any help would be great!!! |

Other alternative, longer studs and some 10mm spacers.

try machine/engineering shops instead of wheel shops? I would assume a lathe operator would be happy to do them after hours for cash?
Are they alloy or steel? I've done a couple of sets of alloys with a dremel and they didn't take too long. I used the cut-off disks to get most of the meat off and the sandpaper ones to clean it up. |
