bee r wiring help |
Mon 12 Sep 2011 06:05:26 AM |
Hi chaps Iam new here :D
I have a bee r limiter and I need help with the green wire and the yellow wire. So far I have figured that green needs to splice into rpm signal. So either pin 2 or 22 and yellow needs to go to pin 3 igniter signal. Is this correct? And I cut the grey loop wire for 4 cyl right? Thanks Kev |

Mine doesn't have a limiter. Certainly not at 5k rpm. Apart from the bee r
There is atleast 2 peeps on here with working bee r but can't find any info with search function :( I used red/yellow wire and white wire from the dizzy |

why would you want to limit at 5k?
I thought bee r is just for backfires for drifters but thats just me i guess.. |

I don't. I want it to limit at 8k but even on highest setting (should be about 10k) it stops at 5 and doesn't pop or bang.
Bee r is a rev limiter that also has launch control function |

the CG gives a cas signal every 720 deg (1 cam or 2 crank revs) eh kev, whereas most cars use a crank sensor eh (1/2 a cam or 1 crank rev)
maybe you have tapped into the cas signal, and not the tacho signal ? |

Yes I used the cas wire for rpm signal I believe. Makes sense though. Thanks frank
The yellow/red wire joins into the blue wire after the igniter |

Although wouldn't it over rev instead of under rev with 720*?

machi san WROTE: "Although wouldn't it over rev instead of under rev with 720*?" ahh, good point lol, er........maybe you tapped into the spark signal then ? (1 every 180 deg) its the blue wire for the tacho eh kev (1 of the 2 wires, on the smaller plug) |
