Well, it's more along the lines of safety certificate (that's how they call it nowadays...) stuff with interstate cars and such...

So do you know anybody that can do that at the expense of me searching for a mechanic? Or maybe a forumer who is a mechanic that can do it so I'd give my business to them. :P
I'm still weighing on who to go with for the RWC, so yeah... And does QLD transport need to see the car in the flesh at the time of registering? Cos it'll have no plates and I'll get pulled over! |

if QLD is anything like NSW, u can legally drive the car unregistered for the purpose of getting it registered - so if ur taking it for a RWC, then u'll be fine, or ur driving to QLD transport 2 get registration u'll be fine.. i don't think u'd have any dramas bro...

Oh no, it's not registered, so I'd have to get new plates for it.

Yeah, it looks like the 6 spoke, and they're 16 inch ones, I just wanted some more information on them, that's all.

LowMicra WROTE: " Grev WROTE: "Oh yes, I am buying bluey. Does anybody know what the wheels are on bluey?" Get the details of bluey, ie: build date, vin, colour and go to Queensland transport and get a day pass so you can drive it to a place of destination for a roadworthy certificate should be about $80 i did that when I brought a datsun 200B " Where's the guy that you work with, for $50? :( |

You will need ctp insurance to get the day rego. So buy that seperately from suncorp or whoever.

Greo WROTE: "You will need ctp insurance to get the day rego. So buy that seperately from suncorp or whoever. " Would it be fine if I'll be getting the rego for the day? As in without the need to get a 'daily pass' and such? |
