I would of considered putting the scoop above the TB , if only to help cool the TB electronics down and improve reliability .
I dig the eyelids ..cool |

this bonnet was dinted in the middle, therefore was looking at a bit of bog anyway, thats why i decided to scoop it, gives me something to point my pod filter at.
this will not be permanetly fitted to my car, just for mornings i wake up with attitude. the plan is to have a coupla bonnets an a few grills so i can mix and match i am getting a bit of bonnet distortion dispite wet towels and slow stich welding but only on the scoop. When i did the eyelids there was no probs, because of the curve and the strength of the area, makes this pretty easy as a welding mod and for bog work. I am pretty sure my panelbeater best mate could do this job in a coupla hours with his mig and in his workhop, therefore it shouldnt be too expensive, then cover it with mock carbon fibre like one of the uk boys has done, cheap badboy bonnet! |
