How are you going to bridge the bar in the middle where the badge goes? Another option is you could always import one from NZ that basically looks like that.  |

Can you please post a pic without a badge, if not too hard to remove. It looks better than I imagined it would. I thought about doing exactly the same but convinced myself that my way would look better. I have just proved myself wrong...

that slat is strong, I have been sanding in the middle where I glued a piece behind the badge and its strong. I killed 2 grills to make this one, glued pieces behind first to get rigidity then glued patches on top, just need to do a little fingerdab with bog tommorow and sand and ready for prep/paint (red)
