Take the bullet train out to Shizuoka, then catch the Tokaido sen back to Shimizu Port and visit "B Crews". Fujita san the owner still has a few modified k11s for sale in his yard, and also still some great k11 parts from over the years sitting amongst his stock on the shelves. I went out there about a month ago and there was still a bit of stuff out there for the k11, although not HEAPS. He would perhaps still be able to make you anything up that you needed for example coil overs for the k11 etc.
You will most likely find that the k11 scene is reasonably dead these days, but Mulholland and B-Crews are definitely the last remaining places with the highest chance of grabbing some cool parts etc. There are other specialist places but you have to put the research hours in, trudging through sites in Japanese to see what's still available. You don't see too many modified k11s getting around any more in Japan - I have seen a couple of cool lowered/modified looking ones, but its a rare find. But there are a few unmodified k11s still getting around. You also may enjoy to visit some generic auto parts shops like a popular chain called "Up Garage" which stock all kinds of awesome used performance parts ranging from say coil overs and mag wheels through to performance gauges and turbo charges. Depending on which store yo visit, they may have some old k11 stuff in stock lying around. But again, it requires searching and phone calls and a reasonable amount of time invested to do all the chasing. auctions.yahoo.co.jp is always a good place to start, not sure if you already knew about that site or not. But often some of the big sellers will put things on there, and you can find their contact details off that site. Mulholland is near Daimon, Saitama. Address: 〒 336-0963 1809 Mulholland gate Midori-ku Saitama TEL :048-878-2235 FAX :048-812-1125 I get the impression these days that Mulholland are still fairly heavily into the k11, where as B-Crews had progressed a little more with the times and is now *mostly* into Suzuki's and GTR's. But B-Crews have awesome customer service and he will most likely bend over backwards for any k11 customers so is well worth a visit also. The Mulholland guys are absolutely lovely too. Have a great time. |
