whats the proper and safe way of removing the tint....that wont damage the defroster strips of the rear window.

it is very hard to do it yourself mate i know the steps because i have a mate who is a tinter and have seen him do it... u need to put it in the sun and have black plastic on the out side let it get warm and then peel but like u said it will damage the heat strips so go get it done by a pro

Yeah in theory a steamer works, but it's time consuming, and I'm not sure the effect on the heater wires, chemicals also work with the right stuff. Me I thought about it, then went looking for online quotes, between $25-$50 will get a pro to do it, which in my mind is worth it, mine will get done soon as I hate the reduced viability from mine. |
