Swappable parts?

Quick question guys!
Looking at swapping the bumpers and lights from a facelift K11 and putting them on my early K11, Is this possible? Or are the mountings different?
My bumpers are a nasty black and make the car look eons old. Any suggestions?

People usually go the other way, you'd have to change the wings and bonnet too, perhaps a better option would be to source some early painted bumpers, nearly everyone prefers the original shape to the facelifted one.

i think the wings are the same, you need lights, bonnet, catch and support/upright bar, and some wiring mods iirc

what sort of wiring mods?

i forget now, the wires dont reach, or the h/lamp plugs are different :O

hmm, i thought they fit the same 1275, are you sure its not just the repeater hole that is different ?

You could well be right Frank, I just remember Rob changing the wings as well on his car (post 73) and they do look different to me around the headlights
