Best way to get at wires?. |

Hi, I bought a rough Micra as a run around, been going over it fault finding, cleaning etc, during that I found last owner has wired up the Sony aftermarket HU wrong, only giving mono sound cause it's two speakers and they used front/back not left/right. It's going to be a few weeks before I get a manual or anything, so I just would love to know easiest way to get at the wiring?. I was thinking dropping the glove-box, but can't find how that unbolts at the base, or will it be easier to pull out the HU?. Thanks. |

you,re best to remove the HU bishop, 2 screws behind the ashtray + another couple iirc and pull/lever the facia off
and the glovebox should have 2 pins in the hinges that withdraw frank |

Thanks Frank, I'll have a look for those pins tomorrow, and see about popping off the front fascia for a good look. Really I was just going to ignore the CD/Radio until I pick up a cheap Pioneer (Sony has no mp3 support!), but listening to stuff in mono sucks. |
