Where do i locate the engine number??

Hi there.
Just recently purchased my first micra and in the process of getting it roadworthy.

I am having difficulty locating the engine number. The number i found doesnt seem to be the right one.
Can someone please tell me where it is and how to find it.
Any pictures would also help a great deal.

If you mean the Engine Code, its located here as in this picture.
Mostly CG10 or CG13.
