Air flow meter |
Thu 14 Jan 2010 05:21:40 AM |
Hi,
I'm not too up on the technical stuff but here goes. I've read a few things on the problem of the air flow meter/throttle body with the 2001 micra. I was wondering could anyone let me know if I have to change the whole unit or is there anything I can do myself to repair it, like soldering as with the older model. I've been quoted £240 for a replacement unit does this sound about right? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as money is tight! cheers |

Cheers frank I'll check that out. I'll try and see can I get a key somewhere any ideas as to what they are called or where I might find one?
Thanks again |

i agree, go for it but you must solder the air flow meter well because it is not a job to mess with it. good luck and tell us what happened.
