Gear stick sloppy

Sun 15 Nov 2009 11:28:31 PM
When I first bought my K11 the gear shifter was sloppy. On inspection I discovered the plastic ring that holds the gear stick to the selector arm was broken.

A trip to the local wrecking yard had me coming back with one from an N13/N14 Pulsar complete with stick.

Where the Micra is plastic with molded in brass nuts and 'bolted' on, the Pulsar version is metal cased with fixed studs and 'nutted' on.

The only thing here is you will need to enlarge the two bolt holes on the selector arm to accommodate the thicker threads.
