NEW DOOR CARDS/A-PILLARS PROGRESS THREAD |
Tue 13 Oct 2009 01:33:06 PM |
hey guys as most of you all know i just finished doing my dash, now im bored and am starting the rest of the interior. out of my dash i got a sponsorship with xMplar distrubtion with AD speakers and woofers and steg amps so im making room for all my new gear
i built some doors awhile back but i got new gear and so its now time for new doors and a pillars they will have - 2x 6.5 inch mid woofers - 1x backlight etched perspects - and the usual window winder handles etc the pillars will have - 1x 4" mid ( undecided yet may go in the kicks) - 1x tweeter heres what ive done so far just made up all the brackets and mountings etc enjoy after seeing the mid rings i decided to sand down the surrounds so that it flows smoothly with the speaker old vs new speaker mounting options pannels for the back light perspects, there so deep so that they can store all the electronics for the leds |

hey guys
today i got teh passenger mould for the kick done but not trimmed, trimmed the drivers, also did some more work on the door trims, cut some strips of 3mm MDF curfed them and then glued them on to make a seperate chamber for the speakers. also got a package in the mail, wooo power windows, now i can make up my arm rest and get onto glassing these suckers. enjoy! curfing, makes the MDF bend easier |

after trying a few diffren designs i finally came up with a good one for the arm rest, it came out well awesome!, i espically like the handle :) thats one side ready to wrap. i also fitted the power windows motor for one side, it sits flush against the pannel, had to router out a little bit cuz it was hitting the bottom motor but either than that its all good!!
enjoy! |
