I dit a compleet SR20DE conversion on my micra and can say: What a quik car on the moment, did my first 1/8 mile sprint. Fastes time i made in the rain was 10,24 sec. I'm aiming for 200bhp on my car, then i hope on a good 1/8 mile time. Here a movie sprinting to a honda civic v-tec http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrfZVIysgTM If you people have any question let met know. For a lot of picture's of my project, you can check my site: www.micrachallenge.nl greeting, Challenge |

Thanks for the possitive reaction's.
It was a hard job to complete... Lot of custum made parts, to make the complete project done... But for now it's realy nice to drive and is now realy a little rocket. This winter i go for +200bhp N/A. Special made camshafts, nistune, other header, wide band and other fuel pump. I like to have a good time for the 1/8 mile sprint +driving on the circuit @zandvoort here in Holland. |

It's mostly people from the UK that are on here that have done the conversion (but there's probably no active members) and then there's people from down here that have done it, but are very secretive about what they've done as they don't want people copying them.. go figure (rolleyes smiley here)
If you're looking for fellow SR K11 people, the UK Micra Sports Club is your best bet :) ---dens |

nah, there was only dave bull,s little bandit (sr20det) to my knowledge over here, all the others are abandoned projects.

In the UK there were a couple of sr20de's (on the msc) but not sure if they are still around in one piece...though im sure they'll be some off the forums...doubt you'll be in double figures though, so more that capable of being classed as endangered :)
Think most are put off by the difficulty of manufacturing the extras...though for me it was the extra weight over the front that i wasnt sure about. Looks like a nice build though ChallengeGTi. |

The hole project was quit expensive with all special parts, but was all worth it.
This car is now bild like it's from the factory, not a project for 1 year fun.. It's for me more fun pulling out a big turbo car on 1/8 mile racing. I think there are a lot of people that think it's easy too make the conversion. I'm a lot on diffrent nissan forum's ,and see that a micra is not a cool car too make fast... Sow far i think I'm having the fastest micra in Holland. |
