Perth micra bites the dust

Sat 12 Sep 2009 07:16:44 PM
Some hoon in a hilux smashed into another 4wd parked in the break down lane while they where racing some other car and set off a chain reaction that wrote off a poor micra. Hope it was not one of our members involved.

What is it about Hilux's that attract the dickheads? I gave up off-roading on weekends due to the morons that got out in the bush in their beat up 'luxs.

that story claims there was two different incidents which is incorrect. The 2nd pile up was caused when the cars tried to avoid the first crash. One huge mess all down to one huge moron. Hope he has deep pockets as his foolishness took out 8 cars.

It's highlighted the danger of not only DH's in their 4WD's driving like they're indestructable but also the the hazard posed by the many abandoned vehicles on the freeway emergency lanes. In any other country they'd get towed away within the hour. In Perth they stay there for weeks! Suprising more people don't get injured/killed hitting them!

And don't get me started about the morons pulling over to talk on their mobiles. Illegal and dangerous especially when making a half-arsed effort of getting back into the traffic!

Lucky to be alive based on how badly Micras end up in the smallest of accidents. Imagine a massive one like this.
