yes, handling and suspension whatever your choice is, lightweight flywheel, pulsar brakes, extractors/exhaust, decent cold air intake and if you can stretch your budget some wheels and good tyres.

to save money most of this stuff can be fitted yourself and your mates (its mostly unbolt old part, bolt on new part..)

Yeah, for roughly 2k (2100) I got whiteline kit, new cluster, shocks n springs - from nsm installed and im not lookin back! corners are so tight its amazing, but bumpy roads make for bumpy rides -_-.. nothings perfect.

Personally I'm happy my car is now safe in my eyes to drive, next are the breaks and then performance.
