Turbo Positioning |
Sun 26 Jul 2009 01:23:06 AM |
I'm struggling to find a suitable location for the turbo in the engine bay, the turbo is around 7inches wide from compresor inlet to turbine outlet.
If it's hung where the cat is there'll be next to no room between the alternator and the engine mount. So I'm looking at top mounting, however, how much clearance is there to the bonnet? |

check turbos top mount and compare to family hack (in the force micras on the title tag) there is quite a bit of head space infront of the motor, like a small turbos meant to be there..... things to watch thou are clearences to raditor pipes and cooling fan vanes
