Speakers

Thu 25 Aug 2005 08:10:20 AM
I'm planning on updating my stock speakers in my Micra and was wondering what the best set up is.

Back in the day when I drove a Gemini SLX it was to have 2-ways in the front and 3-ways in the back.

Any suggestions?

I put some jaycar splits with the tweeter fitted in the door trim for $150. For value and sound these are a great purchase. It's not a crazy bass sound but it's atleast 50% better than original and a cheap option.

The 2329's go craaaaazy with an amp.

Easily leave any other 'brand name' 6.5" split speaker in the same price range ($120 to $160) for dead.

After $170 you get brand name products which perform on the same levels (if you're using the same amp).
