Turbocharged K11's with air con |
Tue 04 Mar 2008 08:25:53 PM |
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some pics of K11 turbo setups that retain the air condition. There's a couple floating around on here such as Family Hack but I've searched the forums and none of the pics work .. I am keen to turbocharge my K11 and seeing an existing example would greatly cut down development time! Cheers, Ben PS : if you cannot post images here, please email them to benjos@westnet.com.au |

yeh. can be done. pretty easily.. only way you'll do it is to high mount the turbo, i've managed to fit a 3" dump pipe straight of the back of the turbo.. there some pics here, i think some don't have the alternator bolted back on.. but it does fit, quite easily.. i've done it all without ever disconnecting the a/c aswell.

can be done lowmount too, i've done it with a equal length stainless steam pipe manifold with runners about 30cm long, using 1 turbo of a rb26 and running a split dump pipe. very tight, ceramic coating highly recommended, but it is achievable.
