Garrett T3 from VW Golf 1.6TD on Micra

Hi, i want to turbo charged my Micra 1.3SLX.I have a Garrett T3 turbo from 1.6 diesel golf.I read that this turbo is big for the Micra but is it worth to try it.I want to achieve 4-5 psi with the original manifold by cutting the existing flange off and welding in a new flange to match that of the turbo.I know that the turbo has
A/R 0.42 .Thank You.
