I tinted around the outside of my headlights black, but i seen a pick of a k11 here with the whole light tinted. i s it legal and does it effect the light. Looks good but..... Heres the pic of it http://www.micra.com.au/images/community/forums/28914.jpg

Yeah I definately think it looks good, i dont know the answers to your questions but i'd definately do it if it were legal and didnt affect the lights.

I really doubt it'd be legal down here in aus, though if it is, you're infintely more likely to have the boys in blue hassling you about it.
Tinting the surrounds can look good, but the method you need to use to get the glass off the front is a little messy and I really don't think it'd be worth risking cracking the glass to tint it. ---dens |

well i tinted the surround and to be honest it was'nt hard seperating the glass, once you take your time and dont rush it. But the all black really looks good. Just the legal end to think of
