yes it can be done.. if you don't mind losing your tape player (i sure as hell don't mind!)
i'll post up more info if anyones interested but its a good cheap ($2) mod to get decent quality audio into your stock blaupunkt system... |

professional sound dude by day
semi profession electronics nerd by boring nights most of all - nothing to lose, i was gonna replace it if i broke it :D downside: LOTS of gain through this method... ipod only needs to be on like 2% volume to get a good clean signal which isn't the best for the signal to noise ratio but it works, and its cheap and yeah nuff said! its activated by putting a tape in the slot... if you're really keen you can gut the tape so it never actually stops turning and the playhead doesn't get any wear (not that it matters?) |

" Nice one! Wish i could have done that but the tape player packed up so i bought a JVC KD-G311 CD player instead! The best part about getting the CD player was that someone had put the CD player under the wrong price-tag and it was priced at £100. I took it through the till and it actually cost £200 and they gave it to me for £100 and fitted it for free! Nice touch eh?! |

muhaha. Great idea!
This is awesome. The best part of this mod is "its activated by putting a tape in the slot..." So dodgy and wonderful. Reminds me of when I used to do things like bend/damage the fuel pressure regulator to increase power, or use zip ties to attach alloy gauze to the front bumper. |

dodgy??? :D NEVER!!
something about the micra makes me not want to put an awesome stereo in it cause parking it around sydney i really don't want it to get broken into the next step will be to create a stock looking head uni panel to fit over a pioneer deck so you can clip it on when the cars parked and it doesn't look like anything worth stealing |
