eoi: forged pistons

Fri 13 Jul 2007 02:57:53 PM
hi folks.
for the moment,.. this is purely an expression of interest... it would be a group buy... thing is, i'm eventually going to order my pistons... details are sketchy at the moment, but they will definately be made by wiseco. they will come with pins and locks, and wiseco's own rings. i have used these in a 4g63 before and had no troubles running 25+psi boost and making 340hp @wheels. as for the micra pistons, compression will be around 8.5:1 with standard headgasket thickness, in an attempt to keep lag down to a minimum. haven't got a definate dollar figure for them yet but will probably be on the cheaper side of $1000 for the full set of 4 with pins, locks and rings. from the time of order, should be about 8 weeks before they arive. (but don't hold your breath to that :) ) there not stoopidly cheap, but that said, there not shit either, and with the price they want for em in the uk, datrats etc, its really competitive. show of hands who may be interested please!

I would be but depends on time. More like 12 months for me. Probably too long for you to wait
