Hi I was just wondering if anyone here knows about re-carpeting micras. Ive found a number of hole within the interior and would like to change the whole lot to make it look a bit better.
Has anyone got any tips as its my first attempt at this type of thing. Cheers |

you can buy complete new carpet. you just gotta pull out hte seats and other bits to change it over. would be a painful annoying job to do.

not an easy job. You buy the carpet moulded to fit the car. Then you have to cut the hole for the handbrake, the seat bolts and any other hole that you need. but it can be done, just don't cut the wrong spot.

i think me have gone thru this before....
where do u buy it from last time i beleive we came to the point where some one had to get there car done first for a mould.. you can get it done through most motor trimmers.... if any one comes across the pre moulded stuff let us know |

Thanks for the replies everyone, by the sounds of things its going to be hard so I'll leave it for the moment. Just bought a new set of car mats to cover the wholes LOL.
Cheers Dan P.S. - where the hell did this picture come from? I didn't put it there. |

you can get a flexible carpet that you can use contact glue with, i have used it on boats before. It just needs a bit of manipulation into corners etc. But you would have the same issues with cutting the holes
