Painted Bumpers/Mirrors |
Mon 17 Jul 2006 02:47:11 PM |
hi,
just purchased a 95 LX and stumbled across this site by chance. the car has a little dent in the back, and while im getting that repaired and painted out, i was wondering if it would be a good idea colour coding the bumpers and mirrors, and am just trying to gather a few opinions. The colour is "TJ4 Electric Blue", and the bumpers and mirrors are unpainted at the moment. I like the look of the unpainted bars and mirrors, but if im going to paint them, then i may as well do it whilst the paint is mixed up. Painted bumpers seemed to look quite good with the black strip left black about a third of the way down (picture). also, are the mirrors usually painted if the bumpers are? Possibly sourcing some Super S bumpers may be a better option, but i hear they are around the $450 mark, would that be correct? i take it that price would be without the spotlights as well. any opinions would be much appreciated. thanks |
