Favourite Drink |
Fri 19 May 2006 07:44:41 PM |
On cold wet winter nights its always good to come home and crack open a bottle of my favourite brew.
Very interesting ingredients. Consists of one fully flared up cobra, rice whisky, a bit of ginger. Problem is you have to let it mature for about 1 year before full flavour is reached.Warms you to your toes and puts lead in your pencil. |

That would certainly fire things up.
Now I know why you went so radical with White Knight. This Cobra potion has taken you to the dark side. |

mik WROTE: "Oh my God! You aussies are very strange ;) How much is a bottle?! Or a Snake? :D" Haha thats definately not an australian drink - considering we don't have cobras. No doubt has an asian/middle eastern influence. Am I right whiteknight? |

Its definately Thai, but probably popular in Vietnam too..
In Thailand, they slit the LIVE cobra along the belly, drain the blood and mix it with whiskey and drink it. Apparently its very nice... I wasn't game enough to try some of the stuff my brother brought home.. Oh, and don't ask how he got it into the country :D Sean |

I'd have some with some redbull or something.
But only if Sean did first. |

Yeh I was reading a while ago that if you drink those particular beverages before they're matured they can kill you!!!

Its very popular in Vietnam. Thats a wee one. Seen jars like 2 ft. high with full grown snake in it.Buy whatever size you like. Actually tastes nice after it has matured, more like a brandy flavour.
If you have access to rice whisky all you do is re fill and away you go again. I am sure any strong spirit would work. The snake and other assorted creatures give it the smooth flavour. Yes highly recommened that you let it mature. One thing if you drink a lot of it you can blame the hangover on the snake. Vietnamese men say good for your sex life but they say that about eating dog.I know why so many Vietnamese men get run over. Always sitting on the road scratching themselvs. Don't know what this thread has to do about Micras only some of em go like a cut snakes. |

Youre crazy, man. :D
Then again, i did have a Double quater pounder and a smirnoff black last night. I felt like absolute CRAP after that. The crazy cobra cocktail is probably better for you than what i had! |
