Just wanted to verbalise the jubilation of our country with the news of the two miners rescued from the Beaconsfield mine in Tassie. How good is that news! One cannot imagine being cooped up for two weeks in appalling circumstances, not knowing if that tomb was their final destiny. They lost a colleague in the accident as well, which would have been a dreadful blow to their morale. All I can say is they have great courage and bravery to endure something as devastating as this, hats off to the rescue team and everyone involved in getting those two men back to their families. It's as it should be.

Spot on Micragirl.Yes a great result.
Now if I was one of em I would be hiring a manager wheeling and dealing with the magazines and talking to Hollywood re the film rights. Good luck to them.Ha first thing they did when they got out was to clock off!!Bit of double time I reckon. |

Yeah, guess they need Harry M Miller http://www.harrymmiller.com.au to get the best price for their story from "No Idea" & "Why" magazines etc.
I wonder how Hollywood would fit car chases, shoot outs and a love interest in to this story? |
