hi..
i got told that you can cut of half the gear shift as they are quite long to make them into a short shift, to change gears faster? is it a good idea? thanks |

i shortened mine and have found it to be more of an effort to select gears, but i like it. that plus a nice sports steering wheel gives the car more of sporty feel.
Third gear is abit sus on my car anyhow so sometimes when i'm changing into 3rd gear i "zip" it a lil bit, but i'm sure this would happen with a standard size gear shifter too. |

mate i'm forever crunching 3rd gear. I dont think I'm the only one.
I think 3rd gear in these gearboxes is just a slow mofo. |

:)
You can source these from Raceworx in the UK, and I believe you can also get them from the States as they fit the Nissan Altima or something like that James :) |

Wow! Thats a shortie!
Ive got the short shifter from the guide that cisco wrote. Its a little short if you ask me! A bit more (not too much) length in the main shaft will make it a little more standard, yet still have that short shift. |
