Shite that is cheap. Read over $1.40 down here.
Off subject its Targa Tassie time. That old fart Jim Richards ( yes 58 years young) once again in the lead. Wonder what competitors half his age in comparable cars must think. |

yeah, the premier gets us qlders a 10c discount
at the moment a tank of BP Ultimate still costs less than 50 bucks, i think when it gets over 50 i'll start to get annoyed, but for now im not bothered by petrol price, Alex |

Yep, I just filled up with Optimax 98 this morning, £1.02 ($2.43) a litre, cost me £35 ($83) to fill it up to the brim this morning!!

I'm so glad my mate sold his ute (we use to split the fuel bill depending on who was driving). It was a 330 cu V8 running on 105 motorsport unleaded (cost $3.50 a liter 4 years ago) I'd hate to think what it would cost to run now. Espically considering 60 liters only lasted a weekend! fun weekend though ;)

On that topic, are there any diesel engines that fit the micra engine bay without any mods? Bio-Diesel is available in a couple spots around WA and cheap too! Gosh id love to squeeze the innards of a Prius into a Micra. ^_^

prius mechanicals are GHEY.
Stick with the Cg13. The costs associated with putting a french diesel into the micra will not make the savings worthwhile. Same with LPG. Not many 90's turbo diesels are very efficient anyway. |

Some Eastern Europe countries had a K11 with a 1.5 diesel block in it, I don't know which ones or why but thats quite an interesting fact nonetheless!!

Yeah i've considered it myself to be honest. My friend said he had a plan, seeing as they install a new ECU and map all the new LPG stuff, why not fit a turbo, tow it to the place and let them map your new turbo into an LPG conversion? hehe

Theres a supercharged (or turbo) LPG Mini in Perth that is an amazing sprint car. Some say it out does roadbikes! :O
Horray for crazy mods. |
