Removing stickers

Thu 27 Apr 2006 04:42:39 PM
My beloved Astroboy sticker on the back of my Micra was looking a bit shabby so I piled it off only to leave that horrid grey gum that stickers leave.

What's the best way to get that crap off??

If its on the window its fairly easy.. Turps, Eucalyptus oil or Prepsol will do it.

If its on paint see if you can get your hands on some Prepsol from an auto-shop and that'll get it off..

But don't leave it on the paint too long

mineral turps and a liittle bit of elbow greese is the best....doesn't damage the paint.
i used it on a sticker that was on the side of my car and it worked a treat

Turps and elbow grease and or some eucalyptus oil.
Turps is good as dab it on and leave until you have drunk a stubbie and then its ready.
Must not rush these things.

Its probably best that you don't pull it off. There's a high chance it'll bring the paint with it. lol
