Hi all , I did a bit of sniffing around at turbobygarrett and from the maps there's a few I'd narrow it down to . If it was to be a plain bearing job I would look at some of the smaller compressor trim GT20's .
For something more modern the GT2854R could be ok though any extra engine capacity would be a bonus . Its been my experience that being a little generous with the turbine side and using just enough compressor to get the desired maximum airflow makes for an acceptable boost threshold and low exhaust restriction . Its a ways off for me yet though I'm curious as to what bore pipe/tube people are using in their exhaust manifolds as the gas speed it pretty critical on a smalish engine . Cheers Adrian . |
