Amps and Subs

Thu 09 Mar 2006 08:18:51 AM
I'm thinking about putting a small(ish) amp and sub in my micra, probably about 200 Watts and and 8/10 inch sub, or somwthing. Was just wondering where's the best place to take your 12V for the amp and the easiet ways to mount them/fasten them down in the boot of a micra? Any help is great, thanks.

Some people have them screwed into the wooden cover over the spare wheel. Others find snug places for them under seats. For a little one, you could even squeeze it up top of the passenger foot well....

As for subs, theres not really 1 particular spot that works, iirc. You may need to make a little cabinet and let it roam free to the best spot in the car.

if you make a 'fake floor' you can screw your sub box(s) amp(s) into this fake floor as it will keep steady if you design and built in right.
